Frog in the Pot

What’s so difficult about a quarter-life crisis? It can be difficult if you’re an alcoholic janitor, living alone, clinging to a few friends you can barely relate to, while having no significant other. His name is Alvin Taylor, and he lives in the Seattle area. While on his winter vacation he visits a friend in Bellingham, and after a belligerent encounter with the police he decides to turn his life around…by becoming a crossing guard at an elementary, but even that won’t turn out as he hoped.
