A Happy Aspie

Travis shares his story of ups and downs with Autism. His journey to happiness has been hampered by mental illness. All along he thought autism was what made him unhappy but when he learned of his schizophrenia he quickly realized how autism was a blessing and he could live a happy and fulfilling life. Autism cannot slow him down and now he hopes to help others get happy with their autism too. After feeling depressed and hopeless for ten years he finds a new medication that helps him with voices and visions he was suffering from due to schizophrenia. Now that the mental illness is out of the way he sees the true value and meaning of having autism. Autism makes him very special and unique. It is a reason he is so good at trombone and also a reason that he is successful at work and writing. .......
